We are recruiting volunteers in Sussex County:

The Alzheimer's Association is currently recruiting facilitators and co-facilitators to hold support groups for caregivers of people with dementia. Contact Carol Gurioli at carol.gurioli@alz.org or 800.272.3900 with questions or to volunteer. Training will be provided.

Professional Alzheimer's / Dementia Caregiver Classes:

If you are a professional who cares for individuals with memory loss, the Alzheimer's Association has FREE training for you. Classes will be at Southampton Memorial Hospital, East Pavilion Auditorium, 100 Fairview Dr., Franklin, Va. Attendees will receive certificates of course completion at the end of each class.
