Project Details:
First Solar LLC, a leading global provider of comprehensive photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, has applied for local permits to develop a 118-megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) photovoltaic (PV) solar project in Sussex County. The project will be located on approximately 2,000 acres southwest of U.S Route 460, approximately one to three miles southwest and west of Waverly in Sussex County If approved, construction of the project is expected to begin in late 2019, with operations starting in late 2020.
