All County Offices Closed in Observance of Labor Day

Please join us and learn about Atlantic Waste Disposal. Waste Management employees will explain how the landfill works, the technologies in place, and the site's Wildlife Habitat Council projects. Our team will also discuss the checks and balances used every day to ensure environmental safety.

The Board of Supervisors meets every third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. This meeting will be held in the Sussex Elementary School Gymnasium at Sussex Elementary School, 21392 Sussex Drive, Stony Creek, VA 23882.

This meeting will be held at the Sussex Social Services Department – Conference Room, 20103 Princeton Road, Stony Creek VA 23882.

The Social Services Administrative Board meets every third Tuesday of each month at 10:AM in the conference room of the Newsome Human Services Building.

The event, scheduled for the first Tuesday in August, will be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
