ROUTE 634 BRIDGE (INDIAN BRANCH LANE) TO CLOSE
SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY– Crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 634 Bridge (Indian Branch Lane) for superstructure repairs beginning Monday, February 22, 2016 at 8 a.m. The full bridge closure will last for two weeks, and is scheduled to be complete by Friday, March 4. Signed detours will be in place.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Eastbound Traffic: From Indian Branch Lane (Route 634) turn left onto Cabin Point Road (Route 606) travel south approximately 1.86 miles. Turn left onto Plank Road (Route 35) travel southeast approximately 0.6 of a mile to Cabin Point Road. Turn left onto Wakefield Road (Route 628) travel north approximately 2.95 miles to end back at Indian Branch Lane (Route 634).
Westbound Traffic: Indian Branch Lane (Route 634) travel south onto Wakefield Road (Route 628) approximately 2.95 miles to Plank Road (Route 35). Turn right onto Plank Road (Route 35) travel northwest approximately 0.6 of a mile to Cabin Point Road. Turn right onto Cabin Point Road (Route 606) travel north approximately 1.86 miles, ending back at Indian Branch Lane (Route 634).
