VDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: HUSKE ROAD (ROUTE 649) WILL BE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS FROM AUGUST 24 THROUGH AUGUST 28
Detour will be in place for one week during closure beginning Monday, August 24th, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and continuing through Friday August 28th, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.

Detour will be in place for one week during closure
SUSSEX COUNTY, Va. – Crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Huske Road (Route 649) near the intersection of Green Church Road (Route 645) for culvert repairs beginning Monday, August 24th, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and continuing through Friday August 28th, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.
The detour for the work is as follows:
Take Green Church Road (Route 645) for 2.4 miles and turn left onto Blue Star Highway (Route 301). Travel 3.6 miles and turn left onto Huske Road (Route 734). Travel 0.1 miles and turn left onto Huske Road (Route 648). Follow for 2.7 miles to get back to Huske Road (Route 649)
