Notice is hereby given that the Sussex County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the General District Courtroom, Sussex Judicial Center, 15098 Courthouse Road, Sussex, Virginia 23884 to consider the following ordinance amendment:
Zoning Amendment #2023-01: An amendment to the Sussex County Zoning Ordinance under Article I. Definitions to modify the term of home occupation and to add new provisions governing home occupations in a new Article XXIV Home Occupations, Type I, and Type II. The two (2) levels of types of home occupations are established to accommodate the divergent needs of developing areas of the County from the rural areas of the county.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance Amendment along with supporting documentation is available for review in the Planning Department during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
