What We Do

As part of the Crater Health District, the Sussex Health Department provides a wealth of services for the community. Clinical services include Family Planning, Immunizations, Maternity Care, pregnancy testing, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing and treatment, Tuberculosis screening, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Visit the Services page for details and clinic times. Some services are provided at no cost, while others are provided on a sliding scale or flat fee. The Health Department also provides Environmental Health services (including restaurant inspection and onsite sewage and well services), vital records, communicable disease surveillance and investigation, emergency planning, and community health initiatives.
